College and Career Planning

Many foster kids believe that college and careers are only for the other kids.

We help foster kids believe in their own futures.  For some it’s a four year degree, for others its community college or a trade program.  Whatever it is, Treehouse helps foster kids set and achieve college and career goals.

Sparking an interest opens doors to the future.

Just like other kids, foster kids can dream big.  By sparking a child’s interest in middle school we can help them connect the dots between the things they are interested and potential college and career paths.

Individual attention and good planning lead the way.

College and Career Planning works with foster kids at their level.  Each child explores and discovers their interests.  Then we create a specific individualized plan to keep them on track. We also provide workshops to help with standardized testing, essay writing, financial aid forms, scholarship applications and other skills that are essential to accessing higher education, trade schools, and careers.
